| | These are the sales girls from the mercantile in Dublan. Can you recognize any of them? |
| | These are a group of friends from the colonies. You can take the boy out of the Colonies, but you can't take the Colonies out of the boys! (I think the first man on the left looks like Samuel John Robinson, of Colonia Dublan. He had seven sons and eight daughters-that lived. The other men could be his sons and sons-in-law. I'm just guessing on the others, but the first man sure looks like Great-grandpa Samuel John Robinson. By Claudette Rayl) |
This picture was taken in Colonia Dublan we believe. The young man seated just to the left of the small wheel is Heber John Done, son of Abraham Done and Annie Robinson. We don't know the names of any of the others. It's really too small to see at the available resolution here, so here is a link to the larger version: Heber and the boys |

James Jacobson, Jr. is the brother of my grandfather, Erastus Sylvester Jacobson. He is the son of my great grandfather, James Jacobson 17-Oct-1834 to 9-Apr-1909. My great grandmother had died in Colonia Diaz in 1888. My grandfather settled in Casa Grande, Arizona after the exodus. His brother, James, settled in New Mexico.
