My sister's name. I was wondering who you were speaking about. My sister was born in Tucson, AZ in 1930 and died in Medford, OR in 1985. Is there another Helen Whiting? Do you find this valuable?

Did you get an answer to your question? Yes, there is another Helen Whiting. My 3rd grt-grandmother Helen Amelia Whiting was one of Edwin Whitings daughters (early Church pioneer). She was Archibald Buchanan's first wife. They settled Glenwood, Sevier County Utah back in the 1860s. Here's a link to Archie's history - There is a nice story about Colonia Dublan at the end of his history - http://home.utah.edu/~joseph/genealogy/AWOBuchanan.html
Here is a link to a good Edwin Whiting history site - http://oscox.org/mecwhiting/mehistoryindex.html
